    • Under the tent at the Dining Camp

    • Beer & S'mores

    • It will be cold in the evening and we will be outside. We will have a fire, but please dress appropriately.
       

Saturday, September 24, 2016 - Wedding Day!!

  • Continental Breakfast

    • Office Lawn

    • 7:30 - 9am

    • ​Feel free to explore the Preserve in the morning and take in the beauty that it has to offer: relax on your dock, play some tennis, or take a stream-side walk!

  • Softball Game

    • Softball Field

    • 10:00am (BP @ 9:30am)

    • A PLP tradition! Casual Attire / Wear Your Colors (huh?)

    • Guests should be advised that it is a real softball game with hard-hit balls, bats, etc. If you are not comfortable playing, please feel free to come out, socialize and watch the game where many others will also be congregating. 

  • Boxed Picnic Lunch Hosted by Lane's grandmother, Bubsie

  • Ceremony We get married!

    • Church Grove

    • 3:30pm

    • Cocktail Attire

    • No Children

    • Please park at the Dining Camp and walk to the Church Grove. It's a beautiful 5 minute stroll.

    • Wolf Springs Campsite

    • Wolf Springs is a four mile / 15 minute drive from the Dining Camp

    • We recommend that you change into warmer, more comfortable clothes. We’ll be outside around a campfire. Close-toed shoes and a warm fleece recommended!

Some notes

  • Please let us know in advance if you plan to bring your children to PLP for the weekend 

  • Be prepared to walk on dirt roads - there are no paved roads. Wedges and flats are recommended. If it rains, the roads will be muddy.

  • Weather:

    • Check the weather before you come! Even if the prediction is for warm weather during the day, it will be very cold at night. Average temperature for September 24 is a high of 66 and a low of 45.

    • Bring pants, warms socks and a fleece or light jacket. Most camps are not heated, and it is cold during September evenings.

    • Ladies will welcome a sweater or a wrap for the evening.

  • *Mountain Cocktail attire: Look nice, but dress for the weather. Rehearsal dinner will be outside/inside and welcome party will be outdoors.
